Poster 14. This presentation will provide methodological insights for the application of critical phenomenology in counseling research. CP is an intentional praxis that integrates critical theories and qualitative research methods to center narratives and counternarratives through the exploration of marginalized people’s experiences with an emphasis on their processes of becoming, coping, healing and meaning making. CP research aims to move communities toward liberation, social justice, and the eradication of false dominant narratives that perpetuate harm and marginalization.
