Table 3. While doctoral programs have historically been housed in large research universities, a growing number of CES programs are being offered online. Training researchers in the online environment presents challenges in creating opportunities for research involvement outside of classes. Thus, counselor educators must be intentional in creating a culture of research in online spaces. In this proposal, we explore the importance of creating a community of research in the online environment.
