Poster 13. The challenges Muslim-American students experience in K-12 settings present a critical social justice and public health issue based on the evidence documenting the detrimental effects of bullying and discrimination on this stigmatized group. Please join us to hear about the lived experiences of Muslim-American students at supportive public high schools explored using a phenomenological framework. This session will also equip you with culturally sensitive practices to advocate for and with this marginalized population in schools.
