Table 4. This presentation will discuss the fairness and potential cultural bias in the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) for marginalized counseling students. We will share our initial findings on CPCE scores among white and non-white students and propose strategies to mitigate bias. The presenters will facilitate a discussion on alternative comprehensive exams for marginalized counseling students, aiming to promote fairness and equity in assessment within counselor education programs.
