Table 3. College students face unique stressors that impact their mental health, and students from economically marginalized backgrounds experience additional challenges. This presentation highlights findings from a qualitative study of eleven college students from self-identified low-income backgrounds, including the influence of income level on mental health and experiences in counseling. Clinical and research implications will be discussed.
