Poster 2. Counselors are tasked with working with diverse clients who often express strong political opinions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccination became heavily politicized and led to therapeutic ruptures. Counselors seeking to build working alliances with clients who express vaccine hesitancy benefit from understanding the causal features of potential hesitancy. This study examined vaccine hesitancy amongst a large cohort of diverse college students during the COVID pandemic and found social determinants as a predictor for hesitancy.
