Table 1. User experience (UX) research and design involves the systematic exploration of a person’s behaviors, preferences, and interactions with products to improve experience expectations (Wendel, 2020). UX design can have significant relevance to counseling research, yet it is rarely considered by counseling researchers. UX principles and theories will be illustrated, and participants will engage in interactive discussions aimed at identifying opportunities and creative solutions to enhance digital counseling research grounded in UX principles.
